Goodmorning.It'sagreatpleasuretobehere.Todayisamajormilestone[1]forMicrosoftasourfirstProfeionalDevelopersConferencehereinChina.ThekeypartnershiwebuildwithsoftwaredevelopersaroundtheworldarecentralnotonlytothesucceofWindowsbutalsotorealizethepoibilitythatPCtechnologyprovides.It'sthroughalicatioofeveryvarietythatbusineeswillbeusingthepersonalcomputerasthetooloftheInformationAge.　

It'sratheramazinghowfastthisiovation[2]ismoving.Eventokeepthelikeofmyselfwhoaredeeplyinvolvedintheindustrytogoandseetheimprovementandeveryelementthataretakingplaceonayearlybasisisquitefantastic.Ofcourseoneofthedrivingfactorsofthisbusineistheexponentialincreaseinproceorperformance.Thereisnodoubtthatthemagicofchipcapabilityhasdeliveredthroughtheadvanceinmicroproceorallowsustothinkofalicationwhichneverwouldhavebeenpoiblebefore.

ThePCindustryisoneofthefewindustriesthatcandeliverlowerpriceequipmentatthesametimeasimprovingthecapabilities.ThestoragesystemsarenowdeliveringGigabyteofstorageasthestandardcapability.Over80millionofPCsarebeingsoldayear.Andtheservermarket,thehigherperformancemachinesthatthesePCsnetworkedwith,arethefastestgrowingpartofthisbusine.Theperformanceofthoseserversisincreasingnotonlybecausetheindividualproceorsarefaster,butalsobecauseweareusingmultiple-proceormachines,socalledSMPdesigandclusteringnodestogether.……
